Photographing Cities
Spokane

Seattle waterfront

Spokane, rich with natural and urban beauty, is another photogenic Northwest city.  Riverfront Park and Manito Park have retained the beauty of the natural within the urban atmosphere.  Be sure to check out Riverfront Park’s attractions, namely the clock tower, the metal fountain, and the supersized red wagon.  Downtown Spokane has many architectural points of interest, such as the Spokesman Review building and the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox, which has magnificent inner beauty.  St. Aloysius Church on the Gonzaga University campus has splendid vantage points, as does the rest of the campus – from the landscaping to the many statues.  Going north, Green Bluff has many rural points of interest, and you can always visit Cat Tales to get up close and personal with many endangered species.
